03.28.25 Gearing Up For Our 2025 Season

05.08.24 2024 League Play Has Begun
CSWSA league play kicked off last week on May 2, with four very talented and fundamentally-matched teams playing double-headers in the spring sunshine. All in attendance were amazing and gracious; we worked togehter to make it happen. It was fantastic!
03.7.24 Fields Are Being Reviewed and Umpire Fees have INCREASED
Broomfield may not be available and getting quotes from other fields. Plus umpire fees have gone up substantially.
02.27.24 Colorado Senior Softball Association “CSSA”
CSSA a co-ed softball league for Seniors 50 years of age and above. Doubleheaders are played on Monday mornings (70 and older divisions) and Wednesday mornings (all other divisions) from late April through early August, with a tournament in September. Teams are located along the Front Range. Visit the CSSA website for more information.
03.21.23 Courtesy Runner Rule Update
CSWSA Rules were amended under section 10.2 Courtesy Runners from Home Plate [CRFHP]. This courtesy runner is intended to assist those that are hurt (disabled) and not for slow runners; the CRFHP will be the last out prior to the at-bat; and the CRFHP will start 3 feet behind third base line.

The CSWSA is now up and running! You will find important information about the league such as schedules, standings, rules, and various required paperwork.

01.15.23 Recruitment and Field Selection
  • Starting the process of getting fields and letting last year’s players/teams know what is happening by posting on Facebook.
  • Looking at setting up Instagram.
  • Reviewing necessary insurance.
  • If we can get enough players to create five teams, then exploring other fields would be feasible (like Ruby, Vanderbilt, or even one in Aurora).
